The Canadian Blind Sports women’s Goalball team that competed at the 2010 Malmo Lady InterCup Goalball Tournament in Sweden this past weekend overcame two preliminary round losses and battled back to win the event. The Canadian Blind Sports men’s Goalball team that competed in Izola, Slovenia took the opposite route, going undefeated in the round-robin, but ultimately finishing in 4th place. In both cases, all of the players saw ample court time and gained important international experience, while coaches from both tournaments were pleased with the results.
