It's official… the recreational Goalball League is back! Due to our great success last year, City of Toronto has agreed to put our league back into the Toronto programming for this year and the first night is coming up soon. The only available time is once again on Saturday nights from 7-8:30 PM at the same location, 89 Church Avenue at Mitchell Field Arena. The closest main intersection is Yonge and Finch. Church Avenue runs east and west and intersects with Yonge Street, just south of Finch Avenue. Go east onto Church Avenue and you will find the arena on the third block. The goalball league will take place in the gym space (there is only one gym, and it will be there right when you walk through the main doors).
GOALBALL LEAGUE INFORMATION:
- Begins on Saturday, January 14th (7 – 8:30 PM)
- Runs for 9 weeks (January 14th – March 17th … there will not be a session on February 18th for Family Day Weekend)

- Each week, we will warm-up, improve through drills, and play mini games
- During the final week, we will do some skills competitions for prizes
- It is open to EVERYONE of all ages and all visual abilities so please spread the word!
- We will be supplying all of the equipment which includes Goalballs, Official Visors, Kneepads, and Goalball Pants (NEW). Please wear running shoes and some comfortable gym clothes. There are change rooms in the gym if anyone needs them.
- If you need assistance finding your way from the Finch subway station or anywhere else, please let me know, and I will make sure someone is there to meet you.
