High Performance Camp
OBSA’s High Performance Training Camp is an opportunity for OBSA’s top athletes to be exposed to a high level of training and expertise. The Association brings in qualified guest speakers to educate athletes on topics essential to performance like sports science and nutrition as well as life skills such as time management and education pathways. Other experts like specialized trainers and chiropractors can also be brought in to work with athletes on a case-by-case basis. Having access to these services not only improves the athlete’s performance threshold over the weekend but also provides athletes with knowledge that will help improve their daily training regiments.
An athlete from any OBSA-sanctioned sport can participate in the camp however athletes must be endorsed by a coach to participate in the camp. In the case where space is limited and athletes must be selected, selection is based on coach recommendations and the athlete’s past performances.
