The Ontario Blind Sports Association values the health and safety of all our participants and volunteers and would like to make known our concern about the growing COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with the Government of Canada and the Canadian sport industry at large, we are putting emphasis on a ‘health first’ approach in limiting opportunities for person-to-person transmission of this new virus. As such, the decision has been made to cancel/postpone the 2020 Ontario Provincial Goalball Championships until further notice.
Your wellbeing is of utmost concern when participating in our sport programs. Should you have any questions or concerns about anything to do with practices, competitions, training events, or otherwise as it pertains to this sudden change in climate, please feel free to call the OBSA office and we will do everything we can to help and make information known.

This annual competition will be officiated by certified goalball officials and will be played under the most current rules issued by IBSA with possible exemptions as determined by the competition’s Head Referee. All coaches and participants must be registered members with OBSA in order to compete at this event. Games will start on the morning of Saturday, March 28th and finals will be on Sunday, March 29th, followed by a medal ceremony.
Location: W. Ross Macdonald School in Brantford, ON (350 Brant Ave, Brantford, Ontario, N3T 3J9).
Early Bird Rate – $40.00 per player (before February 14th, 2020)
Standard Rate – $50.00 per player
Registration Deadline – March 13th, 2020. Entry fees and all forms must be received by the Program Manager (richard@blindsports.on.ca) before registration is complete.
